Too often life may focus on routine rather than stopping to make the time to celebrate the people you truly love and care about.
How do we essentially shut down routines for a bit so that we can stop to appreciate one another in special caring ways?
I have a number of strategies that help me to do this.
Organize the calendar
Updating the calendar in ways that the upcoming jobs, events, and appointments are listed so you don't have to think about those events during your celebration.
Pay your bills
If possible, it's good to pay the bills so that's not a worry.
Clean the house
It's always good to have a clean house and when the house is clean, you don't worry as much.
Plan a celebration event that takes your mind away from the everyday routine
Planning the kind of event that makes it easy to focus on those you love is a good way to leave the daily routines behind.
Remember that wonderful events are memory makers and sources of good energy going forward
There are good reasons why stopping to enjoy one another and to celebrate your love and care are important. These events give life good energy during the celebration and beyond.
Onward.
