Today's job list is filled with a host of small, annoying jobs. I've never been good at those small jobs that are repetitive and require little thought. In fact, those are the kinds of jobs that find me making the most errors. I'm far better at deep thinking, intense jobs, however, these little jobs have to be done.
As much as possible I try to eliminate these jobs by keeping life simply with respect to what I do and what I have. As they say, less things, more time and also less things, less annoying small, repetitive jobs.
So how will I attack these annoying tasks today.
A bit of coffee, but not too much, energizes this effort. Then, a carrot to keep me going. For example, the culminating event for all these little jobs is a trip to the post office so I'll likely add a task to that event that's more attractive than all these little jobs.
Doing the annoying tasks is part of life and we all have some jobs that we would define as annoying. Onward.
