The wedding was wonderful thanks to the amazing planning, preparation, and presence of so many. Now it's time to move ahead - what's ahead on the agenda.
Garden
This is the best time of year for the garden. It's time to weed, shore up the supports, harvest, plant a few more seeds, and cook with the harvested foods. What will I prepare and cook? Veggie risotto, salads, pesto and stir fry for now.
Yard
The next time the temperature drops, I want to get the yard ready for fall bulb planting. I've ordered flower bulbs and I want to collect more garlic bulbs to plant.
Healthy routine
The last couple weeks of wedding planning thwarted my healthy routine. Now it's time to get back on track with lots of healthy eating, positive activity, and good sleep.
Relationships
I'm grateful for the many good relationships I enjoy. I want to continue to nurture good relationships in every corner of my life. I'll be thinking about that and acting on those thoughts in the days ahead.
Work
I just completed a five-week summer position and I'm signed up to continue my teaching at Marlboro Public Schools in the fall. I don't think I'll add any more jobs to the agenda as there's much to do at home and with family.
Projects
There's a good number of house projects to complete in the days ahead including these:
- clipping growth around edge of house and adding more pebbles
- planting bulbs
- dealing with the compost
- shoring up the garden for winter
- redecorating master bedroom
- prepping for the holidays
- family history book
- photo albums
- cookbook
- providing care where and when I can
