The mysteries of life

Life offers many mysteries. While we can predict the future based on what we see and know from our environment, we can't actually know exactly how our lives will roll out--that's a mystery. We can, however, live our best lives by accepting the mystery of life while letting what we know lead us.

As we live our lives, it's best to think deeply about what's important to you and what you want out of life. For me, I want to live a life that's best for me, those I love, and the greater community too. What can I do to make that happen?

A good life for me

I want a simple life that's positive and loving. For me, I desire a life that includes a warm, welcoming home, a loving family, good health, positive routines, and positive, peaceful affiliations. As a bonus, I seek a bit of adventure near and sometimes faraway too.

A good life for those I love

I want to be there for those I love. I want to be able to help out in ways that support the good lives they seek.

A good life for the greater community

We have to find ways to peacefully act against this evil, ways that will turn our collective energy towards the amazing potential for good that we hold.

How will my hopes play out in the days ahead?

  • Do what I can to create and maintain a warm, welcoming home
  • Help loved ones as I can
  • Contribute to positive events with family, friends, and the community
  • Live simply and live in ways that protect and preserve the environment too
  • Create inspiring and comforting nourishment and beauty via gardening, cooking, writing, making, entertaining, and more.

Moving beyond the sadness and worry

If you read my blog, you know I've been very sad and worried about a loved one lately. His care needs are extensive and the needed ener...
