Turning the page

 This summer I taught math at an amazing, positive summer camp program. The program truly represented what schools can be and should be including a beautiful, natural campus, great leadership and colleagues, small class sizes, terrific materials, great tech, and a positive schedule. It was a joy to teach in this environment for five weeks. 

Today is the final day marking the end of another life chapter, and the start of another life chapter that directs me more deeply towards my close family members and friends. I'll likely teach again this fall in the tutoring program I was apart of last year, and with the time remaining, I'll most likely be involved with healthy, positive routines and family/friend endeavors that include these main priorities:

  • positive relationships with friends and family - being there for those I love as well as giving those I love the space and time they need to be who they are and pursue the positive endeavors that they are involved in. 
  • helping others when I have what they need
  • continuing my efforts to create a loving, warm, and welcoming home 
  • good, positive times with friends and family
With any time left over, I want to contribute to the greater good in the community and nation in ways that I can. 

So far the summer has been mostly positive--may that continue. Onward.
