What really makes a positive difference in your life

As I think about my to-do list today, I'm thinking about the objects, tasks, and routines that truly impact my life in positive ways. For example, we have a good coffee maker. We love to drink good coffee. We make our coffee every morning. That's a fairly simple item that positively affects my life. As I think about the tasks ahead, I'm thinking about what take priority when it comes to positive impacts.

Organizing my kitchen tools will positively impact my life so that I can more easily find what I need in the kitchen when cooking and preparing meals. That will positively impact my life now.

Beautiful veggies and flowers provide a positive impact with respect to quality of life--simply living amongst natural beauty brings life greater joy. Cooking and eating good food with quality ingredients also brings life strength, happiness, enjoyment, and wellness. That's an immediate reward.

Travel allows you to rest and broadens your perspective which betters life when well planned and executed. Sloppy, mindless travel rarely does the same.

A simple, clean, and for me, sparse, home brings peace. Thoughtful times with loving friends and family members also brings peace.

Good, people-centered government lays the foundation for good living for all--that's an important investment. Healthy recreation enlivens your spirit and mind--that's good too.

There's much to reach for in life to live your best possible life for yourself and others. The more you identify what it takes and what you need to do to create a positive life for self and others, the better.
