I plan to participate in my local No Kings Protest today because I want to see good leaders rise in the United States. I desire the kinds of leaders who will serve ALL the people in our country in humane, positive ways that promote life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Right now multiple leaders are seemingly working for their own personal power, pleasure, profit, and privilege at the expense of good living for most people in the United States. These greedy, destructive leaders are promoting violence, racism, disrespect, hate, and harm in every direction in our country and beyond. They are promoting multiple hateful actions via masked, violent enforcers, pardoning criminals, abusing the court system, siding with worldwide inhumane dictators and evil leaders, and creating a lawless, authoritarian leadership group in the White House, Congress, and The Supreme Court. If we don't use the peaceful powers we have to counteract this takeover, we will be doomed.
So today I'll join community members in peaceful protest to display our disapproval of the violent, greedy authoritarians who have infiltrated many of our government offices in destructive ways. While I protest, I will meet many like-minded people and listen to the stories they have about their experiences with this hateful, deadly regime and their ideas about how to make positive change. I'll also cheer on the demonstrators as a way to encourage our collaborative efforts to right and uplift our country and peace around the world.
It's important to peacefully stand up for betterment when the unthinkable occurs. Now is the time!
