When I look at a meaningful treasure that I've received, I immediately become frightened as I know that treasures don't last, and I worry about the good fortune I am experiencing. I looked up and read about what people may be frightened or anxious when good luck strikes. There are a myriad of possible reasons. For me, peace comes when I recognize that life is a series of mountains, valleys, and plateaus, and what is important is that we appreciate the good, work for better, share our good fortune with others and navigate both good and bad times with our best ability, values, and outlook. Onward.
