Welcome 2026!

 I thought a lot about the new year to come in the past few days as I rested up after a busy, but altogether positive Thanksgiving-Christmas holiday. While I am frustrated, angry, and disappointed with many in our national leadership, on a personal level, it was a very positive holiday season as I have many loving, caring, generous, ethical, and positive friends and family members. This is good. 

As I thought about 2026, it took me a while to realize that I what I hope for on a personal level for 2026 is more of the same:

  • caring for loved ones 
  • living a healthy, simple lifestyle
  • having the kind of time that allows me to be present and available to those I love
  • making good relationships a priority
  • doing what I can to contribute to a positive culture and government
Specifically that means focusing on a few personal goals that translate to a greater ability to love, live well, serve, and give. Onward.
