We know that a perfect world doesn't exist, but when we identify what we believe to be a perfect world, we have a better chance of nearing perfection when perfection is defined as good living. The challenge is that we all define "perfect" in different ways. In my "perfect world" today, the following conditions exist.
- Sickness and suffering are greatly reduced
- Where sickness occurs, there is state-of-the-art, warm, skilled care that mitigates the suffering
- Caregivers receive the pay and benefits they deserve
- The natural world is protected and cared for
- Invention progresses in humane ways
- Leadership puts the common good first
- We care for one another in sensitive, caring ways
- We live simply and intentionally
- Relationships are reciprocal
I'll add to this list in time.
