Changing landscapes of life

As people grow and time moves on, life's landscape changes too. How do you respond to these changes? I try to assess the changes at play and respond in a way that matches my values, passions, interests, dreams, and hopes.

As I age, I find myself moving from more of a leadership role in life to a responder role in life. So the big question at play often finds me asking, How shall I respond?

What am I responding to?

I'm responding to our country's political situation, my family's changes/needs/interests, and my own needs/interests/changes.

What doest this include?

Political Situation

The political situation begs the question, What can I do to promote the kind of government and country that supports good living for all? I believe we can have a government that works to uplift all rather than a few wealthy individuals.

Family

  • What do you need?
  • How can I help?
  • How do we want to deal with specific situations and opportunities together? This includes holidays, general needs, and more.
Also, with regard to family, there's still a chance now and then to offer specific advice and support when the specific needs arise.

My own interests, needs, passions, and opportunities

  • adventure, exploration, learning, challenge
  • healthy routines and lifestyle
  • healthy, positive relationships
  • simplicity with regard to objects, endeavor
  • meaningful work and activity
  • engaging, thought provoking books, travel, get togethers, and exploration
As always, the key is creating a positive routine to get the goals for good living that I've set. Onward.
