I'm not a fan of lies. I also realize that lies lie on a continuum--there are many kinds of lies. There are lies of omission when people simply withhold information and then there are outright lies when people simply don't tell the truth. Not telling the truth can be as simple as a little white lie and as extensive as an outright, deep lie that really makes a difference in life.
Sometimes it's difficult to discern whether someone is lying or not, you may get that feeling that someone is not telling the truth, but you can't figure that out for sure--that's an uncomfortable feeling. I suppose that if you feel someone is not telling the truth often, you have to be a bit more discerning when conversing with those people. Onward.
