Accepting consequences

 There are consequences for our behavior and we have to accept those consequences. That's why it's important to think before you act. Before acting in any way, think about if you are willing to live with the consequences of that behavior. 

As I think about a tough decision I recently made, I did knowingly realize that the consequences for the decision will be tough, but the consequences of making the opposite decision would likely be even tougher so I made a tough decision and will accept the consequences in the future. I had to stop an unhealthy cycle of behavior, a cycle that was a constant source of pain and hardship and a cycle that has been in place for generations. 

It's important to consider those negative cycles that exist in life--cycles of behavior that have been long held and rarely to never result in positivity. Breaking those cycles is not easy, but has the potential to improve lives substantially and that's a good thing. Onward.
