Getting in your own way

 Sometimes we get in our own way when it comes to what's best for us and for others too. How does this happen? Why does this happen?

One reason that we may get in our own way is the need for control. Rather than wait some situations out, we jump in, and by jumping in we may create more havoc than we avoid. 

Another reason we may get in our own way is thinking that we have the answers or need to have the answers, when we really don't have the knowledge or role in the situation to answer the questions that exist. 

When we're too hasty and don't give matters good time, our haste may hinder success in the situation. Too much self doubt and indecisiveness, on the other hand, can create road blocks too. 

Before engaging in any situation, it's good to think about your true role in the situation rather than assuming too much or too little control, acting hastily, not making the time for good research, and not trusting our better instincts. Onward.
