Relentless problems and issues

There are problems and issues in life that seem relentless. No matter how you try to overcome, solve, or move past these issues, they persist. As I think of the relentless issues in my midst--issues that relate to me personally; issues related to friend/family groups; and issues that relate to society, I am wondering about how to see these issues with a new light and new strategies. I don't like what these relentless issues do to me personally or how they affect the world around me.

Recently I made some good progress with a relentless personal issue I've been facing for a long time. Essentially I removed some obstacles from my life and replaced those obstacles with some very positive people and activities. The positivity as well as the elimination of obstacles gave me the energy, time, and positivity to make good progress with that personal issue. Though just in the past few weeks some of the obstacles creeped back into the scenario and my personal progress was stymied. Clearly those obstacles don't play a positive role in my life, and if possible I have to avoid them as much as possible.

As far as the bigger relentless problems and issues, the kind that involve many people and events, there's only so much I can do to work against the struggle those problems and issues create. Yet, I can do my part by joining with others to support solutions and change that will hopefully one day make a difference with regard to these relentless, tiring, burdensome problems and issues.

As I write, I realize that we do have a lot of control when it comes to the relentless personal problems and issues we face. We can make changes to our lives that counter these seemingly never ending challenges. Identifying positive people, routines, activities, and events that can help us in this regard is a good path to change when persistent personal problems and issues exist. And eliminating the obstacles that prevent positive change is also an important step in this process.

As for the bigger issues, relentless problems that exist outside of our personal sphere, as noted before, we need to work with others to make change--typically we can't eliminate these issues on our own.
