What's good for you is good for others

 As I think of updating many lifestyle elements, I'm thinking about the fact that what's good for me and my health is typically good for others too. I have friends who have updated their lifestyle elements before me. I admit, I found their health updates difficult as those updates changed what they did including what they ate and what they did in their free time. 

Yet, as I think about a healthy life, I am now thinking about ways that I can update my lifestyle in healthy ways, ways that I'll share with others. 

Some ideas related to this include the following:

  1. little to no alcohol--the sugar in alcohol has been shown to be unhealthy
  2. little to no sugar in general - sugar is not good for us
  3. little to no processed foods 
  4. little to no red meat
  5. mostly veggies, fruits, and whole grains
  6. activity-focused get togethers i.e. bike rides, hikes, swimming. . . . . .
Many friends have already made these changes--now it's time for me to get onboard.
