Trump is not a Christian because true Christians act as Christ did--Christ lived as simply and humbly as possible and spent his life helping the most challenged around him. Trump, on the other hand, lives his life with as much greed, grandiosity, and self-congratulation as possible--he NEVER takes care of others and ALWAYS does what he wants to feed his insatiable appetite for personal profit, power, and pleasure. He's a true nemesis to good people the world over and those that work with him and for him are no better. Imagine his Vice President, the father of brown boys, agreeing with policies that target brown and black people simply because of the shade of their skin! Imagine Kristie Noem grandstanding in a prison that abuses people in her latest outfit--a prison that beats and harms individuals every day. Imagine Steven Miller ranting and raving to promote racial prejudice and injustice every single day. These are not Christians, instead these are people who have chosen Trumpism as their religion. If we look closely at Trumpism, we will notice their values and beliefs by what they do as well as what they say. If you're a Trumpist, this appears to be what you believe:
- Do anything you can, legal or not, violent or not, to promote your personal power, profit, and pleasure.
- Lie all the time--focus on self-serving manipulation, not truth
- Always target the vulnerable because they don't have the money, supports, time, or energy to fight back
- Always play to the richest people in the room--give them what they want, and take what you can from them.
- Use force to get what you want
- Use the people's money, not your own, to build your personal profit, pleasure, and power
- Take care of yourself--no need to follow any rules of decorum, respect, good manners, or care for one another
- Don't support anything that makes the people stronger--keep the people hungry, angry, divided, unhealthy, and fearful as much as possible.
- Don't work for, befriend, or serve Trumpists in any way
- If you have to work for them, do the minimal--don't serve in any worthwhile way. You don't have to do your best work for these oppressors and harmers.
- Join groups of humanists that truly work for good living for all--I continue to believe that the equation exists where everyone has the opportunity to live a good, humane, life on a planet where policies and laws protect our needed resources and natural beauty/sustenance.
