Throughout life there are people who need you and people you need too. It's important to know when you are needed and when you're not needed; and it's important to understand who you need and why.
As I think of this, I realize that I have a few honest friends who I need. They help me to navigate my path in life in positive ways. They are not afraid to say hard truths and they are also compassionate, honest listeners and responders. I need them--they help me, and I hope that I help them too.
I also need my children--they fill me with a positive spark for living. They too are honest and I appreciate that honesty. We have fun together, and I like to have fun.
Sometimes I get calls and invitations from people who need me too--they might need advice or support of some kind. I like to be there for people when they need me. I genuinely love helping people when I have what they need. Sometimes I don't have what people need, and I hate when that happens, but I send them my best energy and prayers hoping they will find what it is they need sooner than later.
Throughout life the people you need and the people that need you will change somewhat--that happens. Leaving a little space in life to be available when needed is always a good response to this arena. Onward.
