Plan ahead

Plan ahead

Know how, when and where to vote–add those dates and that information to your calendar. Share the dates/times with family members and friends.

Protest on March 28th with friends and family members. Plan a celebration following the protest to celebrate your positive efforts.

Find ways to engage in positive, peaceful political action and community-building events and volunteer activity.

Make time to research and learn about the truth of the matter. Our current Trump administration does all they can to lie, exaggerate, self-praise, and gaslight in order to manipulate us for their self-gain. The smarter and more informed we are, the less they will be able to manipulate us to prop up their personal power, privilege, pleasure, profit, and self-promotion.

A country by the people for the people demands that every one of us uses the time, talent, and energy we have to contribute in significant, positive ways.

We can do this!!!!!!!

I am an avid planner. I enjoy what it takes to plan almost every event--at times, I enjoy the planning process even better than the event itself. When I have good energy, I tend to look over my plans, and I had that good energy yesterday. I'm also a staunch supporter of good government and a government for the people by the people. I do believe the equation exists for good living for all, and closing in on that equation demands intelligent, humane, honest, collaborative leadership that believes in rights, freedom, and good living for ALL.

With planning and my desire for the best possible country and world in mind, I think we can use our calendars and plans to help move our country in a positive direction.

First, add voting dates to your calendar, and under the calendar "description" write down what you need to do to make sure you are registered in time and that you are prepared to vote. For example if you know you're not going to be in town on election days, secure absentee ballots sooner than later. Also make sure you are registered to vote.

Next, make time to research the candidates. Right now we have A LOT of INCOMPETENT lawmakers who are not demonstrating fidelity to their oaths of office, The Constitution, the American people, or the country, These people are robbing the American people of their hard earned tax dollars, needed benefits, clean lands/resources, and freedom. Many are also targeting people because of their religion, skin shades, countries of origin, vulnerability and more--this kind of hate, prejudice, and predatory behavior harms all of us. We can't let self-serving, incompetent, abusive, ignorant criminals take over our good country. Instead we have to support and improve our government so it works for all of us.

After that plan to participate in upcoming political actions and community events that work to uplift all. There's a big protest on March 28th--plan to attend in some way and perhaps, celebrate afterwards with friends and family members. Also, there's opportunities for letter writing, community volunteering, and more to help build and promote the best that our communities can be. Make time to do what you can--our country's welfare depends on all of us.

Too often, a lack of planning makes us miss out on the good work we can do to contribute to a loving, positive, successful country and world. With that in mind, plan to contribute, vote, and protest to turn the tide against the Trump party--a party of prejudice, harm, hate, lawlessness, abuse, cheating, waste, and dishonesty. We can do better.

Moving beyond the sadness and worry
