The last five days have been a beautiful tribute to my dad's life. The drive up to New Hampshire, the hiking weekend in the mountains, the well-attended wake, and the beautiful funeral all demonstrated appreciation and care with respect to Dad's good life. There were many poignant moments throughout the five days and all the while so many people were pulling together to help and support one another in the face of this loss. I am grateful for all who helped us and grieved with us--that togetherness and support turned a tough event into a beautiful tribute.
