A desire to do the right thing

In all situations, I want to act in ways that are right, but in some situations, "right" is not that clear, and in a few situations, "right" not only eludes me, but eludes many around me too. Mostly in these confusing situations, I can cull the situation down to the very basics which leads to the right choice. This "basics" approach is related to my "front page news" approach which has me thinking about a situation as if the outcome is front page news.
