Looking ahead: Taking my own advice

 When stuck in a quagmire, I recommend looking ahead. That puts things in perspective. 

For example, when dealing with unhealthy people, you have to consider the facts of the matter. What is their life time line and what matters with respect to best possible living for those people. If death is imminent it's likely crazy to be thinking of cures, but if the illness is one that can be remedied, investing time into cures is all the right thing to do. 

Sometimes in the heat of the moment we can lose perspective about what's most important with the long term in mind,  no matter how short or long that term may be. Onward.
